Report an error or dispute a rating
Write to desk@cryptonews.org. We answer within 2 business days. We read every message.
Tell us:
- the page address, or the token address and the chain;
- what is wrong;
- what you think is right, and a public source if you have one.
Disputing a token risk label
A risk label is an automated rating from public on-chain checks and a classifier. It is not a finding of fraud. If a check that fired is wrong, or the token changed after the check, tell us. We re-run the checks. If the label was wrong, we fix it and note the change below. If the checks were right, we keep the label and send you the evidence that we used. You may add a statement to a label, and we will show it next to the label on request.
Headlines and outlets
We do not write headlines. We show the title of an outlet and link to it. If an outlet changes or removes a story, tell us and we update our copy. If a rating of a headline looks wrong, tell us. JEV can be wrong.
How we correct
- We fix a wrong number or label as soon as we confirm it.
- We add a line to the changelog below with the date and what changed.
- We do not change a logged signal or its graded outcome. If a signal was logged by mistake, we keep it, mark it in the changelog, and explain why.
